Bridge Foundation was an organizer of the Third European-American Intensive Course in PCR-Based Clinical and Forensic Testing held in Zagreb, Croatia.  This program is a continuation of efforts that started the forensic laboratory in Split, Croatia that has been widely publicized for its efforts to identify remains found in mass graves throughout the Balkans,  thereby providing much needed closure to thousands of families who lost loved ones during the war.

The conference was the largest of its kind in the world with participants from more than 60 countries, including the U.S. Armed Forces DNA Laboratory, International Commission on Missing Persons, FBI, Mayo Clinic, Harvard Medical School and the Centers for Disease Control among the many participants.
